Machines are stationary constructions present in the complex. Damaging or destroying them yields score in category value destroyed. Some are volatile and may explode and a few may be interacted with. To get most information about machine analyze it with Structural Scanner.

Interactive machines

Each interactive machine has a security level that determines its capabilities. You can hack into machines to operate them, although this may get you traced and eventually trigger an alert.

  • Terminal - General-purpose communication endpoint.
  • Fabricator - Produces parts or robots from schematics and matter.
  • Repair Station - Repair damaged items or refit robots.
  • Recycling Unit - Break down components into matter.
  • Scanalyzer - Provide schematics for existing parts.
  • Garrison - Access point for combat robot squads.
