Programmer

Programmers are a hostile class of robot characterized by their use of Electromagnetic weaponry and supreme tracking abilities. As the Cogmind ascends to higher levels, they will start receiving alerts that read as "Rogue bot located, Programmers report to area 1X". This means one to three Programmers have descended from one of the staircases and are now hunting the player. Programmers have perfect tracking of the player until they've made contact at least once. This means that ECM is useless for evasion until all of the Programmers in the group have sighted the player.

Alternatively, the Programmers can be dispatched with violence - take note of their weakness to kinetic damage and strong resistance to EM damage. Programmers come equipped with Target Analyzers which increase their critical hit chance, and can be a useful form of salvage.
