One of the first applications of Sigix Technology has been to make improvements to existing components, focusing on those which will be useful even after major technological breakthroughs replace certain classes of components entirely. However, as even more advanced technologies reach completion some Experimental Components may be retired as well. At that point I should make their destruction a priority to prevent them from falling into Derelict hands.
