Protectors are a hostile class of robot designed to provide support to assault squads. Consequently, the player will only encounter this class if they cause too much destruction on a single level. These robots come equipped with a Remote Shield Generator to increase the survivability of their compatriots. They have no armament of their own, relying entirely on their allies.
