Demolishers are hostile robots that wield explosive weaponry. They are commonly found in the Mines fighting the Assembled swarm, or the Cogmind if unlucky. There is also a possibility of seeing them if too much combat happens on a single floor and an assault squad is deployed.
A demolisher has high explosive resistance. It allows for relatively safe shooting at adjacent tagets which the robot is happy to do if sometnihg is meleeing it. However, they will hold fire if too many allies are in the blast zone.
