Matter of Heart - Reactivate "Heart of Steel" using copious amounts of Matter.
(Btw there's a funny bug? that if you run out of matter and continue to turn on HoS while equipped then wait a turn automatically shutting it off, it creates a 'free' turn for your count down but even if you hit 200 turns to activate it it won't activate unless your subsequent turn past 200 has the required matter for a turn to count. I ran it to -100 turns or something crazy after at least 20 minutes or more of reactivating HoS without matter when I first had found it not realizing I had no more matter left to feed it lol iirc it said -10X or something remaining as it clearly wasn't coded to display negative turns. Might of already suggested/reported this, mind is a bit foggy.)
Buddies of Steel - After reactivating HoS, beat the game with him still alive. (HoS must be reactivated on floors -6 or below for achievement to be eligible)
Blood Brothers - Get 100-200 combined kills with HoS as your ally. (probably 100 kills, 200 seems a bit hard to me at least)
I'd do it again - Kill 1,000 enemies (over many runs, counts every type)
I can kill time too - Kill 10,000 enemies
I did kill time - Play Cogmind for 1,000 hours
Most Deadly Player (MDP) - Kill 1,000,000 enemies (hopefully it takes years of dedication
could also be MDP - Most Dedicated Player)
Happy 1 Year Later - Log in to Cogmind and play 1 year after your first time playing.
This game never got old - Log into Cogmind and play 5 years after playing it for the first time.
Bug Zapper - Kill 50 Swarmer bots during a single run using only single shot, single volley lasers. (Nothing that has spread or multiple rounds per shot should count)
Bug catcher - Kill 50 Swarmer bots during a single run using only melee weapons.
Mosquito Repellent - Kill 25 swarmer bots only using a flamer.
Bee Keeping - Kill 25 Swarmer bots during a single run using only traps.
Blade Runner - Have a speed of 2X (Fast) or faster, 4 bladed weapons and an imp. melee analysis suite or better equipped all at once for 3 consecutive floors.
Sniper - Kill 50 enemies from a distance of 8 or above without using launchers or cannons.
Pro Trapper - Kill 25 enemies using traps during a single run.
Seasoned Trapper - Kill 100 enemies using traps. (over many runs)
Experienced Trapper - Kill 500 enemies using traps. " "
Master Trapper - Kill 1,500 enemies using traps. " "
Bounty Hunter - Kill 25 Hunter bots during a single run.
Can't Hunt this! - Kill 1,000 Hunter bots (over the course of many runs)
Hunt this! - Rewire, fab or reprogram a Hunter bot and have it kill another Hunter bot. 10 times. (over the course of many runs)
Heavier they are, quieter they die - Kill a Heavy before it calls for reinforcements on you.
Heavy Suspicion - Have reinforcements sent after you for doing something suspicious near a heavy.
Heavy Peeping - Get reinforcements sent after you from a heavy 25 times during a single run.
Heavy Handed - Kill a heavy using melee weapons.
Heavy Killer - Kill 25 Heavies during a single run.
Heavy Destroyer - Kill 500 Heavies (over the course of many runs)
H. I. L. F. - Kill 1,500 Heavies " "
That's all for now. Got to run. Real quick before I do run I also wanted to suggest having a ToME style of 'Achievement's' for 1.0 Cogmind that separates Achievements for Explorer, Adventurer and Rogue. By that I mean, if done right now using the current 256 it would essentially be 768 Achievements to work towards unlocking. Or maybe have Explorer/Adventurer combined and have Rogue separated out giving us 512 Achievements to work towards.
I think playing on the lower difficulties is great, even for seasoned Cogminds and especially early on for new players when you are grasping the ropes but it does create a bit of 'cheese' and ruined some of the fun for me when I got many achievements too easy playing on Explorer/Adventurer.
While ToME's 1700+ achievements might not be a direction you want to go (although the more the better I say!), I do love that it gave me incentive to play on different difficulties/game modes without penalty and still kept the hard achievements safe for me to tackle when I was ready (roguelike/nightmare, roguelike/madness). Please consider locking off Rogue achievements since it's the real way to play and is so much harder to get them on it versus the other difficulties
Getting chevo's on Rogue are special to me and would be nice to know what I unlocked on that difficulty versus in an easier difficulties.
Thanks! Happy Holidays Kyzrati and everyone else who stumbled upon this.
