Does someone have that info?
I've beaten the game several times, and seen a few different endings, but I've never really understood what made what happen.

Seeing as you joined Discord shortly after and I guess got the answer there, I'll just share the community's answer here for reference :)

Spoilers, obviously

Spoiler

1: So I dragged the warrior into command, unsealed the gates for Warlord (for my first time), got a very-expected hostile response from him, and just ran away and killed main.c. Because I'm a dolt, I hit space and skipped the ending cinematic. Score reported it as 'defeated main.c'; I assume it was the normal walk-out-walk-back-in cinematic, and warlord is just brushed under the table since he's hostile (but, interestingly, not all his followers where)?

2: I've yet to uncover anything on the illuminati past what can be decoded in Lab, and spoiling myself in this thread I've yet to see any terminal in the Main.C room. I assume it's the grey machinery and maybe I just hit it with a datajack after luring Main.c away so he doesn't damage it? These runs take a dozen hours each and it's very frustrating to do trial-and-error in the final few moments. Still have no idea that waveform inhibitor does in the back room, either.

Sorry for the thread necro but for non-discord people there's really not many places to talk about these things!

Kyzrati

Meh, not much of a necro considering the average posting time on the forums these days :P

The big old terminal doesn't require a datajack (which are only ever for hacking robots), just standing in his position is enough, but naturally this will only work while it's still active.

For the ultimate extended extended spoilers:

The Wave Inhibitor prevents you from teleporting, but once you disable it you'll find that you can teleport to a new generally inaccessible location via Dimensional Slip Node. Then most likely die unless you are super buff :P (OR have the means to escape what awaits...)

Not sure about your W encounter, would need more info on that, but your scoresheet from the run probably includes that info (don't see you on the leaderboards by this name though so can't check it there...).

Yup, looking at it now the dump is clearly appended with _w3+, I wonder what the plus means?

Will drag some hpw teleporters in next time, I assume it's far away since terrain scanners never show anything. Cheers!

You get a + for defeating a boss.

And you can see in your log where you met W, he's referring to the fact that you've

teamed up with an alien

:P

You definitely did not get a normal ending, though--you skipped the w3 event, a cool one and one of my favorites xD (you can see the result in your scoresheet at the top, although sadly you missed the sequence)
