Manual Inventory(Prototypes) hack doesn't work

It just parses to "Prototypes" instead which is probably not what's supposed to happen.

Ooh, thank you. Apparently no one's even tried to do that hack manually yet! Or at least didn't notice the difference between Prototypes and Inventory(Prototypes) in that context. I guess it must be happening because the former command is a subset of the latter, though that's still odd since you clearly type the longer one. Will investigate and fix!
