Why didn't you just adjust the keys?I did, and it's sort of workable for the most part, but it felt like an afterthought. The way that various windows pop up and close, and just general feel of menu navigation gave me the impression that the game is clearly intended to be played with a mouse. I know this is a minor detail to most users, and ToME is generally well regarded, but my OCD/ADHD tendencies often inflate small nitpicks into bigger distractions and frustrations over time.
Hehe, so you're one of the players helping push up the hjkl numbers in our stat summary!I love Vim, so I reeeeally prefer HJKL to arrows/numpad. So much so that it pretty much kept me from enjoying ToME.
And now back to working on some secret new ASCII stuff for Cogmind...OOooooo I can keep secrets!
