I'm actually glad about my build. The last time I went to that cave, I got murdered with a flight build. This time, I'm packed with guns and armor. Now I can take on that beast.
ATTAAAAAACK!!!

Z-Imprinter is really tough to beat! He came out while I'm at the open space. And because he's on hover, I had to come close to him to get any good aim against him. Meanwhile, several assembles came along and joined in the fight against me. That's a lot of enemies already!
However, I did not forget about my stasis trap. After coming close to the Imprinter, I quickly installed a stasis trap underneath me and then self-trigger for a big damage reduction. As a result, I barely had enough weapons to finish off the Imprinter, and that was after about 100 turns of battle! Had I not been under the stasis trap, I think I would have lost all my weapons already.

One good tip to remember, ALWAYS keep an extra propulsion in your inventory, even if that means detaching one to keep it alive. That way, you won't have an overweight penalty x20 if you happen to lose all your propulsion.
Also, if you're using the stasis trap trick and you want to extract it, make sure you don't accidentally drop your extractor! Otherwise, if there's an item underneath you, it will be dropped at another tile and you won't be able to pick it up without destroying your stasis trap! I've learned that the hard way. :(
After roaming around a bit in the Deep Cave, I've encountered one of the most powerful enemies in the world. In fact, it's stronger than any Main.C robot I've ever met, at -6 floor! Not even Alpha 7 could stand a chance. Behold, the Golem:
GOLEM

The moment I saw that thing, I couldn't believe its power level. This one-tile robot is as strong as almost two B-99 Colossus? Ridiculous! How could anyone beat this thing without any high-level weapon, let alone grab its GOLEM Unit item? Does that mean I could even construct a Golem if I get this thing?
I want it.
But unfortunately, I was getting wrecked by this beast so I had to flee to the stairs and hopefully that would take me to the next floor, or at least that's what I thought...
Enter: Proximity Cave. Aughhhh!!!
Despite grabbing a lot of Zionite gears which are all cool parts, they have very low integrity compared to Main.C's variant. After approaching an enemy base filled with dormant enemies (not a good idea), I thought I had enough good gears to approach and destroy them. (I really want to hack into their terminal over there.) Turns out, I overestimated them and I ran out of items. I had to drop all my storage units and a bunch of loots to escape. I got chased down by Wardens which aren't so bad since they're super slow. But after a while, I came across a dead end. My core integrity is extremely low, and there's no other way around without approaching the Wardens dead-on. And when I did, it's all over.
I died unhappy. :'(

But there are a lot of secrets in the Deep Cave, and then there's Golem I want to capture. I also got to see the power of stasis trap during combat which I think it's quite effective. Maybe I'll try that out again in the future, with a secret anti-Golem build. :D
