hello,
I just dont see how I can save to ANSII format
I tried test.ans, then it saves to something else
please help
thanks
Hi phil, did you check the manual?
If it's saving to something else then it sounds like you're not using the Ctrl-a hotkey, which is the only way to produce that export (and it won't produce anything else).
The manual's Appendix D covers ANSI specifically, and unless you've downloaded the ANSI-specific preconfigured version of REXPaint, then you'd also need to configure it first. All the relevant instructions are described in that Appendix.
To be clearer, note that REXPaint never "saves" an image to anything but it's native .xp format, and when you want to use a given image elsewhere (for example as an .ans file), then you need to export it using the proper hotkey/target depending on your needs.
ok, I copied the files to data
and I figured the keybindings are hard coded to us keyboards so I had to CTRL+q instead
also to change the image width, Ii had to mod both config files, weird
thanks
