Ah yeah that would require a lot of doing, some kind of mod perhaps provides that feature (technically the forum software is completely moddable), though it's not anything that's available by default. Not really a lot of options in general, which explains the rather large modding community around forum software, and even some of the mods I had to install to provide some seemingly simple/obvious features :P

I try to avoid mods when possible though, since they make updating more complicated (or in the case of the wiki even permanently broke a bunch of stuff that used to work, due to an impossible update path...).

I noticed the link in the scoreboard (https://www.gridsagegames.com/cogmind/scores/) to the Beta 10 archive doesn't work.

The link that's given there is https://www.gridsagegames.com/cogmind/scores/archive-200915-220317.html,
but the actual link should be https://www.gridsagegames.com/cogmind/scores/archive-200915-220318.html (replacing the last number (7) by "8"). (Also I'm 15th place there, yay!)

Ah whoops, thanks for the heads up, apparently had a little typo there when resetting the leaderboards. Sure had been a while since I did that xD

It should get changed to the correct link tomorrow when the next update is generated.

Also nice job on 15th! Surprisingly my best only got me up to 34 in Beta 10... (although it appears I only did five full runs in all of Beta 10--for most of that period I was doing my runs in Beta 11 prereleases to test new features/content :P)

It seems the leaderboards, the run database and Dataminer are not time travel proof.

Relatively recently, i ended a run (114) with my system time set before run #111's end, and this caused it to appear between run 110 and run 111 instead of between run 113 and 115.
This seems to also have messed with the Dataminer database :
As can be seen from the "complete run database" (ctrl+f perseus), i currently have a total of seven Beta 11.1 runs :
https://www.gridsagegames.com/cogmind/scores/versions/Beta11.1.html
But according to Dataminer, i only have six (i don't know how to include specific settings in the link, if that a thing) :
https://leiavoia.net/cogmind/dataminer/community.html?player=Perseus
The one where i went "back in time" is the one missing from that set.

(The "time travel" scoresheet is located between the two volatile ones in the run database.)

R-26 Lightspeed

Unrelated, i've found a duplicated scoresheet in the complete run database : (ctrl+f "8141")

Indeed not, that's not something that it's built for.

Can't say anything about Dataminer, since that's not my project, though yeah it's based on the available run data so would make sense that it would have the same issue.

Yeah that happens sometimes (and on a much bigger scale), usually automatically fixed when the leaderboard database is wiped at some point for a full recalculation. Maybe this is a different case, but since it's just one example not really worried about it.

Don't know what most people think but for me I find the contrast of the simble too low for a subforum that has a new post. I have missed on my first time looking through the forums, not even a fast skim, so maybe increase the contrast? In through old one it was yellow against dark gray, but in this one  it's red against red. :P

Kyzrati

Yeah I agree, overall colors could use more work in a few areas, and for what you're referring to I believe you mean the "fire" icon? If so it's definitely something I want to change.

(The creator of this theme wanted everything to be red-shaded "Burnt" so it's a bit monotonous, which can be nice in some ways, but problematic in others :P)

Yeah I also saw a SMF option or something but I didn't like the look at all so I decided not to have a colorful theme and instead keep it the way it is..

I updated the icon shading so it'll be more obvious. Was definitely something I also wanted to have :)

It seems that you have two overlapping privacy policy's and that seems like a bad idea so... you have [https://www.gridsagegames.com/forums/index.php?action=agreement and the blog one that says it covers the forums https://www.gridsagegames.com/privacy_policy.html  They are slightly different so thought you might want to know :P

not so much proper feedback but i wanted to mention that i was attempting to imitate the really good Black Rain V3 for SMF 2.1 used previously for the forum and absolutely got destroyed by the coding practices in Curve V2 so i settled for imitating the grid sages site on top of the burnt theme

the coloring is not perfect and i also couldnt find a good replacement for the board icons but it should be doable
so i uploaded the thing on github (so its possible to see the changes, security and stuff) on top of the original theme (license says do whatever but keep license intact) but im thinking of just deleting the repo later if its not any good

Oh that's pretty cool... I will again admit I don't like the current new theme, though it was the best free one I could find that didn't need more than an hour or two of tweaking, and the idea is that although I'd love to have a really nice one like we did before the SMF/PHP update, I also didn't like the idea of putting time into something that would likely at some point be ruined yet again / require a ton of maintenance one day, so wanted to avoid custom solutions and prefer a drop in, which Burnt mostly serves as.

I could at least check it out and throw your mod up as an option on the forums. Will have to see when I've got time for that...

Wait, you said you uploaded it on GitHub and I assume there was a link, but I don't see a link. Or were you planning on doing that later? (And hopefully it's got the original Burnt on their as the starting point so it's easy to quickly browse all the changes, yeah?)

the image can be clicked (or just use https://github.com/mc-oofert/sagetheme) , and yes it is Burnt
also i may have directly overwrote certain variables on some elements because i either:
1. forgot
2. the variable didnt fit
regardless you can view all changes by checking the commits
also still might have some missing colors

i thought the theme i posted prior kinda sucked so i tried my best to apply the Black Rain V3 styling to the Burnt theme to make a new one that looks vaguely like it at my repository (click here) (so that the changes can be seen via commits)
this one kinda went more towards the PHP part but everything seems to work as normal but i still may have made a human error somewhere
its not exactly Black Rain but it looks close to it so
