The Weekly Seed is open to anyone, and we encourage you to share your experiences, stories, and tactics over the course of your run.

The rules are as follows:

  • The Weekly Seed begins from the date this thread is posted and lasts about seven days.
  • Make sure you are running the correct version of Cogmind (see thread subject).
  • Enter the seed and abort your current game to initiate the seed (more details are below).
  • Verify you are not running the tutorial and that the screenshots below match your game.
  • Play through the game once. This is a friendly event and we are all honest people.
  • When finished, post your scoresheet here (it should be the newest file in /scores) and any other screenshots/stories/strategies you wish to share with the community.
  • If you want to share details about the seed or your approach, make sure you use spoiler tags.
  • Due to the spoilerific nature of this thread, be sure to avoid reading details about the seed if you haven't completed your run.
  • As Cogmind now has multiple difficulty modes and challenges which will affect the world generation, by default it is assumed everyone is playing on regular difficulty with no challenges enabled. You are free to use whichever settings you wish, but if you intend on discussing it, be sure to specify what difficulty/challenges you're using!

Hello again.
I had very interesting run with this seed. Surprisingly, I was manage to visit one important and curious location for the first time!  :D This was cool, but the end of the run wasn't cool at all...  :-[
Start and the middle of the game:

I started with wheels, then switched to legs, got storage units and many guns and played as warrior for a while. At some point I went to the caves and met Data Miner. At the next floor I tried to find Zion, but was battered from enemies. They dozed in the typical evil cave room with centry and I tried to kill them (I planned to rewire their disabled buddies in a quiet environment). But they began to call reinforcments again and again, while I fought with them. It is both funny and sad, that they destroyed most of the disabled buddies in the process... So at the end of this annoying battle, I had low core integrity and lack of items. I went away and then was lucky to meet derelict, who revealed a secret passage to the Factory for me. I decided to use this chance because I was in too bad state to go futher in the Caves.
Next interesting event was when I found a room in the Factory, which contained NINE nuclear pulse propultions! At this point, I decided to change game style, replaced propultion with these flying units and dropped some heavy items to become faster.

Late game:

I went through the -3/Research and found the Quarantine entrance. I was curious to find Section 7 for a long time (because I never been there before) and I learned that it is not located in the Research or Testing or Command. So I tried to investigate Quarantine more carefully for it.
I flied for a while in the Quarantine. This time I didn't take Sigix Pod, despite I found the room with it, because I was too engrossed in the search of Section 7. I flied for a long enough time and replaced several wings, because Quarantine inhabitans was angry on me and haunted me everywhere. And - finally! - I found some seriously-looking doors! I flied through them and found some unique huge 3x3 tiles robot. He was angry on me, too, but I did not take any chances to deal with him and so I proceeded fly through the large corridor. At last, I was happy to find Section 7 entrance at the end of it!
At the Section 7 I found core reset matrix soon and learned about artifacts locations. There were so unusual titles! I hurried to try them all. But also I didn't forget to look for any unusial signs, which can tell me something important about Cogmind, because I knew that it was created there from lore and hoped to learn more game plot here. So, I wandered for a while with many angry robots ran after me. I had good ECM suite, so sometimes they forgot about me. But then they saw me again or heared the SOS signal from friends and ran after me again... Finally, I found some seriously-looking doors again and there was really gigantic room behind them!
Of course, room inhabitans were not happy to see me and started to made nasty things, every robot in his own way. Many powerful and angry robots lived in there, and all of them ran after me... but I was unremitting to solve a mistery of the Cogmind's origin, so I just flied faster to the opposite side of the room. I was happy to found second Sigix Terminator there (this means that I can receive at least 3 of them for main.c battle next time), but I didn't noticed anything else interesting and went down.
There I found the room with exoskeleton and was sad because I didn't bring the Sigix Pod and couldn't use it. Then I found several small rooms with LVR prototypes, but still hadn't clear explanation about them...
Unfortunatly, angry robots occupied all the exits from this rooms and I started to loose items and integrity in a confined space filled with enemies. When I was almost naked and had a low integrity, there was a miracle: friendly assembled appeared from nowhere and fought with angry robots. But they hadn't a chance... Angry robots killed them. I briefly survived them, and soon I died without knowing all the answers yet...

Welp...this is embarrassing. I don't remember the last time I died on -10  :'(

I've taken to habit heading towards the mines once I get some sort of explosive weapon. This time, an assembled infestation had already begun, but I spawned in right next to the demolisher response squad grenadiers. Explosive weapons weren't gonna help a ton. I positioned myself poorly to handle them and BOOM!

I say it all the time, something interesting always happens in the mines :)
