I'm not 100% sure of whether that is actually true, but it doesn't hurt to check.
When

attacking DM, EGs usually come to help, but when using the FLK on DM, the EGs don't move an inch.
I also remember using it in base [9.something] without negative consequences, though

FLK has a special effect, so correct it can be used to avoid side effects in some cases.
