It would be useful when planning builds to be able to view the stats for any robots you've encountered in previous games. I am not sure how to deal with the problem that they might have prototype items - would it be good enough to show them as the actual item name if that item is in your gallery?

It would also be useful to export this data for use with the volley simulator. :)

Yep it would be nice for sure, and I've considered it, but it's unfortunately rather complicated and a lot of work (to pull off right) compared to many other more important features, so I don't think we'll get one. If we did it'd go on the upcoming Records page though...
