This is a duplicate of another known crash--thanks for the extra info.
There's something wrong with the robot hacking input that's causing invalid key presses to crash it. (The silent quit was a CTD--crash to desktop.) Actually, based on reports it seems this can happen during any use of the "small list window" that appears for various other functions, like repair station item lists etc.
This will be fixed for next release.
