Thanks for the submission, izzy, will be added in the next update. (I was waiting for more after the latest announcement on r/roguelikedev, but so far just others saying "I will when I have a link" xD)

Hey!

If you don't mind, I'd like to add One Knight in the Dungeon to the showcase. It's mostly procedural generation, but vaults and special "boss" levels are all designed in REX Paint (and then converted into Unreal Engine tiles by the game code).

Homepage: http://oneknight.bracketproductions.com/
Short Description: One Knight in the Dungeon is a traditional roguelike, presented in modern graphics. It's intended as a gateway to the genre - introducing all the greatness of games like Nethack in a friendly, modern format. Choose from 6 starting packages, and customize with free-form skill-tree character development. Currently in pre-alpha, more widespread release expected soon.

Three images (pick and choose!):

A REX Paint map:

The resulting level, in-game:

A typical promo image I use:

Edit: for some reason my img tags aren't working.

Excellent, I've added both yours and izzy's to the Projects page!

Edit: for some reason my img tags aren't working.
This is because the forum requires that all of its content be HTTPS compatible :). Your site doesn't currently support it, but HTTPS is quite important to have these days!

It's an ancient server, creaking along at the bottom of our data-center - but it's mine. :-p It's due for an upgrade, and I'll get HTTPS on there when it receives it. I think it's been sitting there for at least 5 years...

Haha, yeah I figured you of all people would have HTTPS, was kinda surprising :P

OK, I'm quite sure almost everyone here knows about my tiny project, but I feel it is right time to join other great creations in the RP projects page.

1. ASCIICKER
2. https://asciicker.com
3. ASCIICKER is a WIP (work in progress), 3D textmode RPG (role playing game) prototype.
Project has started in 2017, initially written in javascript and targetting only web.
In 2019 development changed to C++ language and now it is targetting almost anything.
Currently builds are provided for linux, windows and web.

Awesome, thanks for the submission, I'll get this one added soon :)

People here might know, but certainly a heck of a lot more people visit the website than actually read the forums!

I've been meaning to just start manually adding people's projects to showcase them, but I've already got so much to do, it's nicer if/when people help me out and provide the info xD

Cropping? Nah... that's the gallery you're thinking of--the projects page uses 16:9 by default ;)

Added, looks good.

No no, just the right spot, thanks for sharing! I love it and will have to include this in the next gallery update on the site :D (where there's quite a backlog now, got like 40 cool new pieces to share...)

Oh hey slashie! Welcome :)

Heh yeah I got to check that out online just yesterday, fun stuff, was wondering what you used to build the map, and I guess now we know--I'll add it to the site shortly!
