@K: Thank you so much! I couldn't find those preferences. I now see that menu mentioned in the manual, but it was for something else and I hadn't read that far. Now I can get to work. Kudos!

Hello! I love the whole feel and function of REXPaint, and I would love to use it for my ASCII art, but there's one issue I found that makes it difficult to get into: I really wish you could resize the window for working on bigger pieces of art. When I use the current zoom function that makes the font bigger and smaller, the entire WINDOW resizes with it and so I can't actually see more of my picture. Is this a bug? A compatibility issue with Windows 10?
I would love to be able to click and drag the borders to make the window bigger. Any chance you could add this function in a future update?

General Discussion / Storm Laser--Awesome or Lemon?

I've been exploring the Lower Caves in what is so far a personal record for survival. I got to the Derelict City, where I talked to some robots. Then I found a guy who offered me his Prototype Energy Gun, which he calls the "Storm Laser". I can't find any record of this weapon on the wiki, and this thing is HUGE--4 weapon slots. If I take it, I'll have to take 2 Weapons on my next evolution. I don't want to screw myself over, but I'd love to gather info for the wiki.
So, two questions:
A) Has anyone else found and tried out the Storm Laser? Is it worth?
B) What do you think...should I take a chance FOR SCIENCE?

CogGod has spoken! (Hi! I'm loving the game so far. Only played it for a week.)
Btw, I just found the Storm Laser in the Lower Caves in my farthest run yet. I'm tempted to take it just to be able to fill out the wiki page, but its huge size will require me to invest my next evolution in weapons. What do you think--shall I take a risk for science?
