How about adding a portal gun?  There could be a new challenge to escape in the least amount of moves.

Since there are double slot items, why not have half slot items? Processors would be good candidates.

I think similar items should be allowed to stack on top of each other i.e. adv. targeting computer could stack with exp. targeting computer.  As well as the benefit you would get from multiple parts only using one slot, if one were to get blown off you would have many more still equipped.  I feel this would reduce frustration on the part of the player.  And it would make finding a large stash of items worthwhile, rather than leave most of the items on the ground.

It just reads wrong to me.  You could replace "as long as" with "if", or omit it all together.  Or just ignore me, i'm no grammar expert.

typos:

instead of "go the offensive" it should be "go on the offensive"

instead of "as long as properly configured" it should be "as long as it is properly configured"

Yeah it's not showing because you've activated Label Supporter Items in the options.

I was using that option to find new parts to attach for the gallery.  I will just have to toggle it when I come across a new abbr.

A lot of parts are abbreviated eg: hpw.  hyp.  rnf. cld.  however I don't know what they all mean.  Is it possible to have the full name in the item stat panel?

Congratulations!  Before I redeem my steam key, what are the implications for your bottom line?  Do you have to pay steam when you give out these keys?  I am not a big fan of steam, although it would be convenient to have the game update itself, if it would cost you any extra I will just continue to use the DRM free download link.

Any chance we'll see an official steam release tournament?? :D :D :D  The alpha tournament was ludicrously fun.

Thanks for the doorway strategy, I didn't know robots would block the entrance like that, very helpful.

The thing that always messes me up is getting caught out in the open.  Trying to get to a doorway or narrow corridor just gets me shot to bits.  Is it worth it?

I was in recycling and I rewired some architects, who then assimilated a spotter.  When the spotter is set to explore the game freezes.  I have gotten this crash to repeat three times now, no crashes so far when the spotter is set to follow.

I retried the seed, and ended up speed/stealth.  I had good scanning/sensing equipment and adv. ecm suite, but I could never find any good power sources.  I had a power amplifier for a short while, but this only allowed either three flight units and no utilities, or two flight units plus utilities.  On -4 I had all my parts shot off, found some treads for armour on -3, and ran into lots of dead ends on -2.  High Density Centrium Heavy Treads make great armour.  I also found my supporter item, Advanced Powered Armour, but had no power source to make use of it.  I think if I could have found a good light power source, or weight distribution, I may have been fast enough and gotten all my scanners into -3, maybe next time.

I got a score of 7775, made it to -5.  I found a lot of good stuff for a stealth run, I may play the seed again and try that instead of combat.

No they'll "gladly" accidentally hit you or each other ;). You just got lucky or didn't see it yet.
Are they as trigger happy as me, or will they prefer line-of-sight?  With so many rockets flying around, I assumed they were firing through each other.

(And non-combat bots are allowed to pass you to avoid creating annoying bottlenecks.)
Thanks for the explanation.

Another question:  when using manual input at a terminal, I can scroll through every command I have ever input.  Is there a way to delete these commands?  Some commands are not so useful, and I have also some typos.

This is a thread where simple questions can be asked if you feel the question doesn't require a thread of its own.

I have some questions of my own:

What is the relationship between me and my allies?  I have gathered a group of non-controllable allies and they don't block my movement, they seem to be able to fire their weapons without hitting one another or me, yet my own volleys will hit them. 

Sometimes when I am not flying and I am in a 1-wide corridor, non-flying worker bots seem to travel past me.  Sometimes they will turn back the way they came, however.  What is happening here?

I hacked the location of the exit, but the stairs weren't shown on the edge of the screen like other hacks, such as machine locations or worker bot locations.  Is there a particular device I need equipped to enable this, or do exits not show up like that?

I found a stash of flight units early so I decided to do a stealth run (which I have never been successful at before).  I had some great gear, long range sensor array and experimental signal interpreter, advanced maneuvering thrusters.  It was all going good until I hacked the location of the exits on -5.  I had a speed of 900% so I thought I could just fly straight past all of the hostile robots, unfortunately this didn't work out, I lost everything and only just made it to the exit.  I was naked and blind on -4, didn't last long there. 

I think if I hadn't of gotten the location of the exit on -5, I would have avoided the group of robots that destroyed all my gear, I overestimated the capabilities of my build and paid the price.  A good run ended by my impatience, I got a score of 5600.

My best ever run.  On -4 I managed to find the exit despite losing all my components and being a couple of hits away from destruction.  On -3 I immediately found a squadron of Plagues, and whilst trying to get away from them an Arc released another squadron of Plagues.  The game finished not long after that.

I have reproduced the bug.  I died in the mines, and when I reload the game I have 0 core integrity.  This time the problem is repeating, I load, get killed instantly, quit, then load again at the same spot, happened 3 or 4 times in a row.  I will leave the game for the time being incase you want a save uploaded or whatever.

I was in the mines area, got the game over screen and I pressed esc to quit.  Next time I opened the game it loaded me at the point where I had previously died, with 0 core integrity.  I was able to continue on until the next hit ended the game again.  I haven't been able to reproduce the bug.  This is alpha 1b

The issue is that the quit and delete save option doesn't function, and it seems to be triggered when the tutorial turns off.
